SHEFFIELD GRAND PRIX Wednesday 17th July 2024

Public Ride

Free Public Ride

from 3:30pm until 4:30pm on Race Day

We are opening up the whole of the Grand Prix circuit for the public to ride on before the racing starts. This is a great opportunity to ride on the same circuit as the professional riders from 3:30pm until 4:30pm on traffic free roads.

It’s free, fun and the perfect activity for the whole family!

Come along and enjoy seeing the pro circuit from the saddle. You don’t have to do lots of laps – just as much or as little as you want. You don’t need to be an experienced cyclist. There will be no cars on the road, so you can take in our great city in your own time. Everyone’s invited.

How It Works

Register from 3:00pm in front of the Town Hall at the British Cycling Gazebo

To be able to ride around the circuit you must first register with British Cycling who will have a registration gazebo which will be outside the Town Hall. This will be open from 3:00pm. Simply register your details and then you are free to experience the famous Grand Prix circuit. You will need a roadworthy bike and all participants must wear a helmet. Youngsters are free to ride and must be accompanied by an adult.
