The Sheffield Grand Prix returns to the heart of the city on Wednesday 22 July 2026, hosting rounds of the British Cycling National Circuit Series for the 12th time.
This exciting evening of racing attracts some of the UK’s top cyclists and thousands of spectators, creating an unforgettable atmosphere in Sheffield city centre.
The event is organised entirely by volunteers and delivered on a not-for-profit basis, helping to ensure the long-term future of this fantastic event. Quite simply, we couldn’t do it without the support of our volunteers.
Why Volunteer?
We’re looking for friendly, enthusiastic people to help with a variety of roles, including marshalling and event support. No previous experience is required – full training, briefings and all necessary equipment will be provided.
All volunteers will receive a pre-event briefing during the week leading up to the race, giving you everything you need to know and the opportunity to ask any questions.
As a thank you for your support, food and refreshments will be provided after the event at Browns Restaurant.
